Value of Education Girls

Girls in the developing world are the greatest unrealized, untapped economic force for cultural transformation in the world.

Uganda and Kenya's millions of uneducated girls are ready to realize a brighter future. According to Nike Foundation’s Girl Effect project:

• When girls are educated beyond secondary school, they bring 25 percent more income into their family.
• When a girl gets seven or more years of education, she marries four years later and has 2.2 few children;
• An educated, employed woman invests 90 percent of her income into her family.
